YOUR JOSHUA TREE
ADVENTURE MADE EASY

Personalized Guided Tours for Your Best National Park Experience

NO DRIVING.

NO WORRIES.

JUST BEAUTY.

Hello, and welcome.

You can call me TC.

I'm here to make your Joshua Tree adventure (aka TREK) easy & fun.

As your guide, I will help you customize a four-to-five hour tour featuring amazing sights and desert experiences.

I'll work with you to make your Joshua Tree NP experience everything you have wished it would be.

My focus is on first-time, low-risk, easy-going travelers - love international folks too.

Minumum two, maximum three participants.

SAFETY. COMFORT.
RESPONSIBILITY.

A great experience for you is my goal, but this is the desert, and there are signs posted by JTNP that say "Do Not Die Today". They are not joking.

Yes, nature in the desert can be next level and ultimately you are responsible for your safety. I will go over hydration, exposure, general health, nutrition and other critical variables before we leave. The danger varies by season and time-of-day, but you should be aware of your health 100% of the time.

By booking my services, you accept all responsibility and liability for you and your party's personal physical & mental health and well-being on the tour.

EXPECTATIONS

& EXPERIENCES.

As a standard tour, we will meet in the city of Joshua Tree, then enter the National Park via the West Entrance.

April-Nov. tours begin at 8AM.

Dec-March tours begin at Noon.

Our standard tour (with audio) will continue to Hemingway Buttress, Intersection Rock, Cap Rock, and Keyes View for photo ops and brief walkabouts.

You will also customize your tour with TWO 45-75 minute hikes. These are fairly easy, beginner, relatively flat hikes. Scrambling is 100% optional. All hikes are GPS/AllTrails guided, as there is no phone/internet service.

Your trek will finish at the Joshua Tree Vistor Center - a short walk to your vehicle.

TREK OPTIONS.

Many tours are simply "photo op" tours with no real walking or hiking.

Exit vehicle. Take pic. Back in vehicle. Next stop.

You deserve more. And better.

As your guide, I will help you choose two additional treks where you will experience nearly infinite views and vantage points. Be aware that during high season, parking may not be available, and we will need to be flexible in our itinerary,

Choose from:

  • Barker Dam Loop (1.3 miles, 65 ft elevation, no scrambles)

  • Hidden Valley Loop (1.0 miles, 118 ft elevation, steps/no scrambles.)

  • Skull/Jumbo Rocks Loop (1.6 miles, 88 ft. elevation, mid/ scrambles. We may also just scramble here if desired.

  • Arch Rock/Heart Rock (1.6 miles, 108 ft. elevation, opt. scrambles)

  • Hall of Horrors (0.6 miles, 26 ft. elevation, mid scrambles)

  • Cap Rock Loop (0.5 miles, 19 ft. elevation, no scrambles)

THE RIDE.

No off-roading.

No crazy hill climbs.

No sand road dig-outs.

A simple vehicle to make things easy.  Roughly 60% of your tour time will be on foot, and we can stop (time permitting) whenever you like for photos.

Want a big, open-roofed, vehicle that holds 6-8 people? Not here. Sorry.

Plenty of room for small backpacks, clothing layers, hydration needs, snacks to keep moving.
